Clear answers before money moves.
Use this pilot help centre for account, submission, verification and sandbox-payment questions.
Can I make a real contribution today?
No. The current public checkout uses Stripe sandbox mode. Sample records, test receipts and funding figures do not represent live marketplace transactions.
How do I submit a real project for the pilot?
Create an account, open Start a build and complete the six-step operator application. Submitted applications are saved privately in Supabase for manual pilot review.
Are operator documents public?
No. Application files are stored in a private bucket. Public proof should be a separately approved record with sensitive information redacted.
What does verified mean during the preview?
The current catalogue is demonstrative. A production verified badge must only appear after identity, authority, documents and project checks are completed under a published review policy.
Does BackThisBuild guarantee delivery?
No. Verification and milestone evidence can reduce information gaps but cannot remove execution, supplier, permit, timing or fraud risk.
When will live payments launch?
Only after the operating entity, legal terms, Stripe live account, operator KYC, payout controls, refunds, support and transactional email are all ready for the chosen launch market.
