The standards and feedback loop used to make BackThisBuild usable by more people.
Accessibility is part of product quality, not a launch-day add-on. The pilot is still being tested and may contain barriers we have not yet found.
Current approach
- Semantic headings, landmarks and keyboard-reachable controls.
- Visible focus states, descriptive labels and text alternatives for meaningful imagery.
- Responsive layouts and support for browser zoom and reduced-motion preferences.
- Contrast and state information that do not depend on colour alone.
Known work before launch
The complete account, operator, checkout and document-review journeys still require an independent keyboard and screen-reader audit. Issues that block authentication, payment or evidence access will be treated as launch blockers.
Report a barrier
Send the page address, the task you were trying to complete, your browser or assistive technology and a short description of the problem. The pilot team will acknowledge actionable reports and prioritise critical barriers.
