Pilot terms of use

BackThisBuild is being developed as a marketplace for contribution-based funding of real-world projects. It is not an investment platform and does not offer equity, securities, interest or a financial return.

Project review, milestone tracking and public evidence are intended to reduce information gaps. They cannot guarantee that a project will succeed, finish on time or deliver every stated benefit.

• You must provide accurate information and only submit a project you are authorised to operate.
• Operator documents are private unless a separate public-release permission is recorded.
• BackThisBuild may pause, reject or remove a submission that is incomplete, misleading, unsafe or outside the pilot scope.
• Sample project records, funding totals and completed examples are demonstrations, not claims about live marketplace activity.

The current checkout is a Stripe sandbox integration and does not move real money. Before live payments are enabled, every project will need project-specific package, delivery, cancellation, dispute and refund terms shown before payment.

The final live operator agreement, payment flow and jurisdiction-specific terms require professional legal review and will supersede this pilot notice.

• Do not attempt to bypass account controls, access another user's data or interfere with the service.
• Do not present a preview badge, sample record or sandbox receipt as independent verification or a real transaction.
